Lightdisc

The luminous disk, entirely in plastic, reflects the slender circular form of the latest generation of fluorescent bulbs. The mono-materic unit (both the parabolic reflector and the lens are injection-moulded polycarbonate) is perfectly sealed and suitable for outdoor use (IP 65).
The IMD (In-Mould Decoration) technique, usually employed for the graphics of the keypads of mobile telephones and other electronic devices, permits alternation of opaque and transparent zones on the polycarbonate cover, which functions as a light-propagating lens: in this way it is possible to conceal the internal components and to introduce decorative elements.
